It offers complete protection against spyware, viruses as well as malware, meaning it can handle all of your security needs while online and offline. The included firewall helps prevent any online hackers from accessing your data or spying on your activities on the Web. Full Review
Kaspersky aims to provide both basic and advanced protection features. The former includes real time protection against traditional threats and hybrid protection which inculcates the power of cloud computing. Proactive detection and automatic exploit prevention ensures that your computer will always remain safe from all types of threats. Advanced protection features involve the use of Anti-Phishing, security for conducting online banking, two-way firewall as well as anti-spam and anti-banner filters that remove unwanted email and advertisements from your daily web browsing. And of course, you will also be protected against Trojans, worms, and rootkits, all in real time.

Performance
In terms of performance, Kaspersky Pure is somewhat centered around the industry average. The time that it takes to perform a full time scan is pretty much the same as other big names within the security industry. However, there is a slight issue that might crop up in the case of users with slightly less powerful machines – this antivirus suite consumes plenty of memory while scanning a device. Although the difference is minor when compared statistically with others, it can make a difference. However, memory usage while not in use is much better than a couple of other similar software. Check out these numbers, using our Highly Rated selections Norton 360 and Trend Micro Titanium Maximum as controls:

Add-Ons/Features
- PC Clean Up Tools – ensure that your personal computer is running optimally by removing extraneous files and maintaining hard drive health.
- Password Sync and Manager – sync passwords across other devices securely.
- Easy-to-use Encryption – transfer sensitive files from your device onto other devices by encrypting them

Support
The biggest pro that Kaspersky Pure Total Security has going for it is the level of support. Kaspersky includes chat, phone, email, and knowledgebase support with all products free during normal business hours, with slightly reduced hours on weekends. This makes Kaspersky a great choice for less savvy users who may need to get in touch with support personnel quickly and easily.
Value
For a single year of protection, Kaspersky Pure will cost you $64.95 per year if purchased though this link, making it one of the more expensive solutions in our roundup. This price does include protection for up to three PCs though, which eases the pain a bit. Still, we’d like to see a little more for a little less, especially when compared to the competition.
